Sarah Alonzo was a successful businesswoman who thought she had it all. She was confident, assertive, and always got what she wanted. She didn’t care about anyone else’s feelings, and she didn’t take no for an answer.

But one night, she made a terrible mistake that changed her life forever.

She was on a business trip in New Orleans, but her flight was delayed and she missed her reservation at a fancy hotel. She decided to stay at a nearby hotel that looked creepy, but had a vacancy sign. The hotel was called Ballista Calasque, and it was rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of its former guests.

Sarah checked in at the front desk, where she met a nice clerk who warned her about the hotel’s history. He told her that some rooms were more haunted than others, and that she should avoid room 13 at all costs. He said that room 13 was the most haunted room in the hotel, and that many people who stayed there had experienced paranormal activity. He said that some people even saw the ghost of a woman who died there under mysterious circumstances.

Sarah laughed at the clerk’s story, and said that she didn’t believe in ghosts. She said that she was not scared of anything, and that she wanted to stay in room 13. She said that she was a very important person, and that she deserved the best room in the hotel. She demanded that the clerk give her the key to room 13, or else she would write a bad review online and sue the hotel for false advertising.

The clerk tried to convince Sarah not to stay in room 13, but she insisted. He reluctantly gave her the key, and told her to be careful. He said that if she needed anything, he would be at the front desk all night. Sarah took the key, and went to room 13. She opened the door, and entered the dark and dusty room. She turned on the light, and looked around. The room was furnished with old and worn-out furniture, and had a musty smell. The walls were covered with faded wallpaper, and the windows were boarded up. The only thing that looked new was a big mirror on one wall.

Sarah was not impressed by the room, and felt cheated. She decided to call the front desk, and complain about the poor quality of the room. She picked up the phone, but there was no dial tone. She tried again, but still nothing. She realized that the phone was not working, and that she was trapped in the room with no way to contact anyone. She felt angry, and decided to take a shower instead.

She went to the bathroom, and turned on the faucet. The water came out brown and dirty, and smelled like rotten eggs. Sarah was disgusted, and turned off the faucet. She decided to go to bed instead, and hoped that the next day would be better.

She went to the bedroom, and pulled back the covers of the bed. The sheets were stained and torn, and had holes in them. Sarah was appalled, but decided to sleep on top of the covers instead of under them. She lay down on the bed, and tried to fall asleep.

She closed her eyes, but soon heard a noise from the mirror. She opened her eyes, and saw a figure standing in front of the mirror. It was a woman dressed in a white nightgown, with long black hair covering her face. The woman looked pale and thin, and had blood dripping from her mouth. She stared at Sarah with red eyes, and smiled wickedly.

Sarah screamed, and jumped out of bed. She ran to the door, but it was locked. She tried to open it, but it wouldn’t budge. She banged on the door, and yelled for help. But no one came.

She turned around, and saw that the woman had moved closer to her. The woman reached out her hand towards Sarah, and said in a raspy voice: “Hello, Karen.”

Sarah felt a cold touch on her shoulder, and fainted.

The next morning, the clerk went to check on Sarah after he didn’t see her leave her room. He knocked on the door of room 13, but there was no answer. He used his master key to open the door, but found it empty.

There was no sign of Sarah or her belongings in the room. The only thing he found was a note on the mirror that read: “I’m sorry.”

The clerk was puzzled by the note, and wondered what had happened to Sarah.

He didn’t know that Sarah had become one of the ghosts of Ballista Calasque.

He didn’t know that Sarah had met her fate at the hands of another ghost who had died in room 13.

He didn’t know that Sarah had encountered the ghost of a Karen!
