NYPD on the Hunt for Suspected Werewolf

New York City faces a series of bizarre attacks. Five bars are in shambles and several patrons are injured. The culprit? A suspected werewolf that witnesses describe as a “large wolf”. It appears only on full moon nights.

The first attack occurred in January at The Wolf’s Den in Brooklyn. A huge black wolf with glowing red eyes burst into the bar. It bit and scratched people. The wolf then vanished as quickly as it came. It left behind a trail of blood and fur.

A similar scene unfolded in February at Luna’s Lounge in Manhattan. The third attack was in March at The Moonshine in Queens. The fourth in April at The Lycan’s Lair in the Bronx. The fifth in May at The Lunar Eclipse in Staten Island.

In each case, the police arrived at the scene. They found a naked man with a bloody mouth lying on the floor. The man, identified as John Doe, claimed to have no memory of what happened. He denied being the werewolf. He said he was a victim of a curse. It made him black out every full moon night.

The police had no evidence to link Doe to the attacks. They did not believe his story. Instead, they suspected he was either a werewolf or a serial killer with a twisted sense of humor. Their plan was to stake out the next bar that had a moon-related name. It was on the night of June 9th, when the next full moon was expected.

“We will not let this werewolf terrorize our city any longer,” said Detective James Wolfson. He led the investigation. “We will catch him and put him behind bars or in a cage, depending on what he really is.”

Meanwhile, Doe had been released on bail and was staying at a motel under police surveillance. He said he was innocent and hoped to find a way to break the curse before the next full moon.

“I don’t know who or what is doing this to me, but I swear I’m not the werewolf,” he said. “I’m just a regular guy who likes to go out for a drink once in a while. Is that too much to ask?”
