In a bizarre incident that has left residents of Springfield in shock, a man dressed as an alien has been breaking into people’s homes and claiming that the probing he performed was for extraterrestrial research.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was seen wearing a silver suit with green antennae on his head. He reportedly broke into several homes in the area and performed “probing” experiments on the residents.

“I woke up in the middle of the night to find this guy standing over me with a flashlight,” said one resident who wished to remain anonymous. “He was wearing this weird suit and had these green things sticking out of his head. He said he was from another planet and that he needed to perform some experiments on me.”

The man reportedly fled the scene when police arrived, leaving behind a trail of glitter and confetti.

While some residents are calling for increased security measures in the area, others are taking the incident in stride.

“I mean, it’s not every day that you get probed by an alien,” said one resident with a chuckle. “I guess I should feel lucky.”

It is unclear at this time whether the man was actually an extraterrestrial.
