Jarnathan Debo, a self-proclaimed scientist and moonshiner from Warsaw, has made a startling discovery that could revolutionize the field of physics and the art of distilling. He claims that he has jerry-rigged an old ice cube machine to capture ghost particles from space and use them to brew his own brand of moonshine.
Ghost particles, also known as neutrinos, are subatomic particles that rarely interact with matter and can pass through solid objects. They are produced by nuclear reactions in the sun and other stars, as well as by cosmic rays and supernovae. Scientists have been trying to detect and study these elusive particles for decades, using sophisticated detectors buried deep underground or submerged in water.
Debo, however, claims that he has found a simpler and cheaper way to catch these ghost particles. He says that he modified an icecube machine that he bought from a garage sale, adding some wires, magnets, and duct tape. He then placed the machine in his backyard, pointing it towards the sky. He says that the machine acts as a “ghost trap”, capturing the neutrinos that rain down from space and converting them into ice cubes.
Debo then uses these ice cubes to cool down his homemade still, where he ferments corn mash and sugar into moonshine. He says that the ghost particles give his moonshine a “special kick” and a “cosmic flavor”. He also claims that his moonshine has various health benefits, such as curing headaches, boosting immunity, and enhancing libido.
Debo says that he has been drinking his ghost particle moonshine for months and has not experienced any negative side effects. He also says that he has shared his moonshine with some of his friends and neighbors, who have also enjoyed it and praised its quality. He says that he plans to patent his invention and start selling his moonshine online under the name “Ghost Shine”.
However, not everyone is convinced by Debo’s claims. Some experts have expressed skepticism and doubt about his methods and results. They say that it is highly unlikely that an icecube machine can detect neutrinos, let alone capture them and turn them into ice cubes. They also warn that drinking moonshine made from unknown substances could be dangerous and harmful.
One of these experts is Dr. Falicia Lee, a professor of physics at the University of Missouri and a leading researcher on neutrino detection. She says that she has contacted Debo and offered to visit his backyard and inspect his icecube machine. She says that she wants to verify his claims and test his moonshine for any traces of neutrinos or other contaminants.
“I’m very curious about what Mr. Debo has done with his icecube machine,” Dr. Lee says. “It sounds like a very creative and interesting experiment, but I doubt that it has anything to do with neutrinos. I think he is either mistaken or lying about what he has achieved. I hope he will let me see his machine and sample his moonshine, so I can find out the truth.”
Debo says that he is willing to let Dr. Lee visit his backyard, but only under certain conditions. He says that he wants her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, pay him a fee of $10,000, and bring him a case of beer. He also says that he will not let her take any samples of his ice cubes or moonshine, unless she agrees to drink some with him first.
“I don’t trust these fancy scientists,” Debo says. “They always try to steal my ideas and ruin my fun. They don’t understand the beauty of nature and the power of ghost particles. They need to loosen up and have a drink with me. Maybe then they will see the light.”
